Johnny starts his own TV channel on a channel which only broadcast emergencies and tests. Later, the army needs the channel for an emergency. The title reference is MTV.

TriviaEdit

• The fourth wall is broken when Dukey asks "How are we going to wrap up this lame show?" near the end of the episode.
• The Emergency Broadcast Channel is a parody of the Emergency Alert System, the national warning system used to warn the public in the event of an emergency. Unlike the EBC, though, the EAS has no designated channel; instead, it overrides all television channels to deliver messages, such as warning regarding tornadoes or inbound nuclear attacks (the latter of which has, thankfully, never been needed).
