Blast has brown hair, a yellow headband with a red diamond shape on it, a black shirt with dark blue cuffs and collar, a red vest/sleeveless jacket, pants, large navy blue wristbands, and tennis shoes.
Personality[]
Blast is a snobbish and self-centered hero of the Tiny'mon series, who sees everyone as his fight opponent, attacking them and believing that no one could be better at fighting or collecting Tiny'mon than him. He's often frustrated when Johnny Test defeats him with Screechereen. At the end of Return of Johnny'mon, Blast seemed to have fewer issues with Johnny (where he admits that Johnny's a great player), but he still wishes to beat him in a battle someday.
History[]
Blast has 3 known Tiny'mon (Badias and Baboomerang, formerly Kadoomerang). In the game, he was looking for the legendary Screechereen, which turned out to be the evolved form of Cuddlebuns. Then he met Johnny Test, Dukey, Susan Test and Mary Test. In 'Return of Johnny'mon', he was beaten by Dukandra and Dadoomerang, but he ends up in the real world where he was knocked out by Dukandra at the end.
In the 2021 revival, Blast returns in the episode Johnny'Mon Go!. His Tiny'mon battled Dukey, who was powered up to have the abilities of a Tiny'mon. He later gets defeated by Johnny Test yet again. He is last seen inside Johnny's phone after he and the Tiny'mon got sucked into it once he got defeated.
He returned in Johnny'Mon Go! Again, Trapping Johnny to get the medal Johnny won. He demands a rematch at the same park they last battled at. Johnny, not wanting to start another battle that would destroy the town, Johnny is willing to give his medal back to him. Johnny, and the others decide to have a true rematch in the Tiny'mon world against Blast, only for Blast to lose again to a squirrel, being defeated once again.
in Johnny's Melee Mayhem, Johnny and his sisters need to find a way to stop Captain Punch and Monkey Mash, but there is nothing that is powerful enough to stop them. Johnny then gets an idea to have Blast take care of them. Blast makes a deal with Johnny and a truce to team up, stopping Captain Punch and Monkey Mash. Johnny then gets the idea to place Captain Punch and Monkey Mash in the Tiny'mon world so Blast will have friends to talk to
Blast is an obvious parody of the Pokémon anime series protagonist Ash Ketchum. However, their personalities are totally different. Ash is a humble boy who never shoves his skills into everyone's faces, while Blast is an arrogant and loud-mouthed egotist who sees himself as better than anyone else. This makes Blast far more similar to Ash's rival Gary Oak, who was also quite haughty and self-centered. (Until his defeat by Ash in the Johto League)
In the Polish dub, Blast is voiced by Grzegorz Drojewski, who is the official Polish actor for Ash in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
Given his design and particularly the red jacket, it can be assumed that Blast is (at least partially) based off of Red, the main character of the Pokémon video game series.
